About Visitor Housing

Having more space for visitors has become a need for us. Currently we have 1 space that sleeps 8, but that only works for 1 family or a group of 1 gender. That space has been such a blessing over the years, but we have had requests for larger groups, more mixed groups, and groups wanting to come as a large group but wanting to be able to stay as individual families (think 3 families coming together). 

So the time has come for us to build more housing for visitors. In November we have a larger mixed group coming with only 1 room available and in 2026 we have 6 trips planned so far and several of those are mixed groups. So to make things easier on us AND our visitors we broke ground on another living space which will actually be 2 more rooms, each holding 8 people (more if needed). These spaces will eliminate the need for us to clear out classrooms to use a guest rooms when we have visitors. This is a win for us and visitors because making a space is a lot of work and not having access to a bathroom in your room is a pain in the middle of the night.

 The total cost of this building will be about $20,000 and we do not have that sitting around (we have kids instead 😂😍). We had enough funds to break ground and get some supplies to get started. Our hope is to have 1 of these 2 rooms finished in a few weeks when our music camp trip gets here. The quicker we raise the funds the quicker we can get this entire project completed.

 As always we are so thankful for your support! Supporting what God is doing here reaches more people than you realize, for the last several days we have had 12+ men here working on this building and providing for their families, which ends up supporting others in our village because most everyone here does their shopping very close to their home.
