About Freedman's Visit to Mercy Home
My wife Sarah and I (Ryan Freedman) will be visiting Mercy Home Ministries for two weeks in March. We are the youth leaders at our church in Michigan and have a great passion for youth. We are also avid gardeners and farmers here in Michigan. Our plan is to help with anything we can while at Mercy Home. In our time in Kenya, we also hope to learn much about the Kenyan culture and how the locals in the area live. Farming and garden chores, helping prepare meals, and I am sure many others tasks we don't realize goes on. We will be bringing over shoes for kids of all ages in hopes of providing many with a pair of shoes that will last them through many trips to school, church, and playing outside. We also plan to go into a town for the opportunity to do some street ministry and pray with people. My wife and I are also planning to visit with people and pray over anyone who wants and needs it in the local hospital.
